Help communities affected by the LA wildfires

Early in January, several wildfires broke out in the Los Angeles area. These wildfires are unprecedented for this region at this time of year and were made worse by intense Santa Ana winds. Multiple wildfires have been part of this outbreak and there is still a threat to these communities as some of these fires continue to burn.

While several fires have been extinguished and the active fires are increasingly contained, these communities face years of recovery and rebuilding. In addition to the long-term recovery needs, some parts of the LA area are still facing power outages and remain without water. As of January 22, the cost of the destruction caused by these wildfires is estimated to be tens of billions of dollars.
