Sam Kang

Sam joined Schwab Charitable in 2018 and currently leads the Service, Operations and Technology teams, where he has focused on improving donor and advisor experiences, delivering scale and efficiency, and building a collaborative, inclusive team environment. Prior to joining Schwab Charitable, he spent over 20 years at TD Ameritrade, where he held a variety of leadership roles in strategy, technology and operations. Sam is a graduate of UC San Diego, has several FINRA securities licenses, and holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® designation. He also is an Executive Sponsor for the Charles Schwab Community Ambassadors Team in Westlake, Texas and is part of the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association in Tarrant County, Texas.
